The Perfect Day Cafe and Roastery in Frenchtown, NJ. Is looking for several Baristas at different experience levels from manager to those just wanting to learn. The ideal people for these positions will be hard-working, friendly and inviting, initiative-taking and passionate about making great coffee. The job responsibilities include barista duties, cleaning and stocking the store and providing a friendly face for the community.

Special consideration will be given to experienced Baristas interested honing management skills, events planning and social media.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Must love coffee and the craft of preparing it
Be willing to learn and share your knowledge
Greeting customers in a friendly manner
Happy to educate customers on the varieties that we offer
Willing to work with other team members to make great coffee preparing food such as soups, sandwiches & pastries
Answering customers’ questions about menu
Promoting and recommending menu options
Taking payment from customers
Leads will be maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs
Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu

Roaster/Owner Leni Calabrese is taking over an old cafe location in Frenchtown, NJ. We need to rebrand it as The Perfect Day Cafe, a place to learn about coffee. enjoy a light meal and to be served finely crafted coffee drinks.

We need several Baristas at different experience levels. The ideal people for these positions will be hard-working, friendly and inviting, initiative-taking and passionate about making great coffee. The job responsibilities include barista duties, cleaning and stocking the store, opening and closing. We can currently offer 25-40 hours a week. Pay will be determined based on experience plus tips.
