Since Monday , March 31, we have increased our herds by 23!!! Huge shoutout and Thank you to our wonderful nieces Larissa and Natalie!!! We could not have done it without you guys! They are becoming experts at drying, cleaning, and getting babies to eat their first time. Thank you, Girls!!!

Today has been all about Meat Goats!!!! Blackie started with a beautiful buckling and doeling during morning feeding, and my girl Dawn followed up an hour later with 2 buckling! Dawn's babies are 1/2 Nigerian Dwarf (Zealous Elk), but they got her size!!

It has been a busy morning. At my 3:45 check, I had one Doe with twins already on the ground, and another having one in another pen. The blond doe had 5 - one stillborn. So for right now I (kif) am unemployed and loving it. But…the goats still have to eat. Therefore we have been experimenting with other things to make and sell at the Stockholm sovereign market and on blackstone dairy’s farm to table…(don’t worry in less than two weeks we will have baby goats filling these pages…)

Have you ever had homemade English muffins??? I have not…until now…and WOW! I’ll post a pic when they are done!

Introduction will be the market on 3/31 along with our yogurt honey and blueberry lemon compote. Hopefully we will have more…stay tuned!
