Rancho de Rodney https://ranchoderodney.org Rancho de Rodney was founded by retired Command Master Chief / Chief of the Boat Rodney Wells, who served in the U.S.

Navy on active duty for 30 years, leaving with a 70% service-connected disability rating. He was assisted by his wife Sherril. We grow nutrition-packed vegetables, fruits, and herbs by natural methods only. Rodney died from his service-connected disabling condition in 2020, and Rancho de Rodney continues so as to honor him and carry on his dream of helping others.

This week we are donating 168.5 pounds of tomatoes, habaneros, serranos, jalapenos, Italian frying peppers, butternut, yellow, and patty pan squash, bay leaves, pomegranates, and a single grapefruit. As summer harvest comes to a close, we are also planting using a "no till" method: seedlings of speckled lettuce, mustard greens, plus purple and green cauliflower are in the ground. 6,944 pounds given away so far this year!
