Man has it been HOT! 🥵 The heat doesn’t mean the work stops tho!

We spent the week working to get hay done. Safely of course. We also hope all the other farmers in the area were able to get theirs done too! So many were out there working in the heat.

But!

We ended the week with a beautiful day to celebrate the USA🇺🇸 We spent our day yesterday enjoying our front porch, and AC😉.

And watering the crazy pumpkins today! They really do enjoy the humidity. We should be seeing some flowers and baby pumpkins soon!

We hope everyone stays cool in these warm temps we are having. 🥵

The pumpkins sure are enjoying it!

The ladies are looking fabulous! All 120 mounds are active! We are going to have SOOOO MANY pumpkins!!

White, blue, tall, round, littles too of course, gourds, and maybe even some giants(we planted two mounds with Atlantic giants 🤞🏻)

And don’t forget! All pumpkins come with a free wagon ride!! Even if you don’t want to pick your own out of the patch. It’s about 20 minutes around the farm, and you can see for MILES!

We open September 11, 2026!

What a gorgeous weekend we had!☀️ We hope you got to enjoy it as much as we did!!

We were able to hammer out a good bit of items off our list!

It’s official!

🌲2026 tree planting has been completed! 🥳

And we were able to get a couple of side quests done too. Mowing pastures and completing some well deserved maintenance on Little Red.

A little appreciation post for this ‘little’ tractor. She is the very first brand new piece of equipment John and I bought when we got married, well before the tree idea. And boy has she earned every hour she’s got.

She’s been the one to pull the old barn roof down, mow all the hay, ted it, rake it, and bale it before the tree operation. Now she does all that(minus baling) PLUS plow, rototill, make the mounds for the trees, spread the ungodly amount of poo, brush hog, pound posts, haul the wagon with pre-k kiddos to the rest home in town for a visit, around the farm during our season for pumpkins, the fall foliage ride, choose and cut trees, and several other activities, move snow, you name it she’s probably done it, even if she shouldn’t have. Who would have ever thought a simple ‘little’ tractor would be the most prized on the farm. ❤️

It’s the small things you have to appreciate!

Another day in the books!

This beautiful weather has finally given us the chance to get some things done!!

Thankfully we have gotten almost all of the 6000 trees for 2026 planted over the last week.

We hope everyone has had a good 2026 so far!!

With this crazy weather we’ve had, we are finally starting to making some progress around the farm.

PUMPKINS!!

We spent the weekend planting so many! Almost double what we planted last season. White, BLUE, warty gourds, round and fat, tall and skinny, small and medium sizes, and more! So long as they all grow of course 😉.

🎃We will be offering pick your own pumpkins again this year!

🚜And don’t forget - you get a free wagon ride with the purchase of any pumpkin!!
