Meet the Producer: Midnight’s Farm
Lopez Island is home to the vibrant and diverse , where fourth-generation islander Faith Van De Putte and David Bill steward 100 acres using regenerative farming practices.
Their farm does a little bit of everything—and does it well.
Right now, you can find fresh herbs like tarragon, sage, oregano, and mint on the Food Hub, along with rhubarb, edible flowers, garlic scapes, and a variety of lettuces. Don’t miss their crunchy Little Gem lettuces, available in mixed bags of red, speckled, and green varieties—perfect for sandwiches and salads.
Beyond produce, Midnight’s Farm raises Murray Grey beef and heritage-breed pork, available by the cut. The farm also operates the first Washington State-certified compost facility in San Juan County, offering compost and wood chips to help fuel your own garden.
Stewardship, community, and education guide every decision at Midnight’s Farm. Stop by their farm stand for dinner fixings—and stay for a yoga class.
