San Juan Island Sea Salt is the first production of Ryan Farm LLC, a family farm located 3 miles outside Friday Harbor WA, in the windy and beautiful San Juan Valley. One of hilarious things about me (Brady speaking) owning this business is that I’m actually a notoriously bad cook. Like the kid in Ratatouille before he had the rat in his hat level bad 🤣. But that’s why I love our seasonings and salts, they make making delicious food easy! This is just a hard boiled egg with our Daily Grind on it. So fricking tasty! But also, I need a refill! I hardly ever harvest salt anymore as our salt production team of Ian and Griffen are so fricking awesome but whenever I get to it’s such a joy! The heat inside the greenhouses, the bright white piles of hot (yep hot) salt, the smells of a salty sauna, the sweating, the cool crystals, I LOVE IT ALL! And we are now in peak salt farming season. Crystals on crystals on crystals!
