A personal post and request for assistance. My husband's not on Facebook so I'm hoping to get some input from my grilling enthusiasts/experts out there in time for Father's Day.

We have a fairly traditional relationship in the kitchen, I prepare everything for our family of 12 EXCEPT for anything regarding crawfish and grilling. As much as I know about sugar and gluten free, I know very little about the art of the perfect ribeye.

As small business owners, we are always on a tight budget, so it wasn't until I noticed his current grill literally disintegrating from the bottom that I realized this man was grilling us the perfect steak with a years-old-falling-apart grill. He's not in the habit of spending his limited funds on himself. Luckily it's almost father's day so now I have the perfect gift idea.

My husband is 100% a charcoal griller, so I have been researching and dwelling on what the perfect grill for our family looks like. I don't want to just come out and ask him because that would ruin the surprise, but I'm anxious that I'll spend $$$ on something he secretly hates but would never tell me.

Criteria: long lasting and durable - we grill out 2-3 times a week when the weather is good, extra large to cook for 12 or more people (our kids have lots of friends over regularly), charcoal only, he has mentioned stainless steel in the past but I've struggled to find many charcoal grills that are stainless steel. He grills mainly chicken, sausage, burgers, and steak if that makes a difference.

Here are the two main ones I've had my eye on. Can anyone weigh in and tell me which direction to go? I accept all input and opinions in my quest to find him the perfect next level grill, but I also need to order one fairly soon as time is running out.

Sales are often funny at the beginning of summer. It's hard to tell how much to stock and as our products are made from scratch daily, we hate to overstock and waste expensive ingredients. That being said, our gluten free bread has sold out every day this week! We will have a special batch of gluten-free bread, rolls, mac and cheese and kolaches delivered to Bakehouse around 11:30 this morning, so make sure to stop in and get yours before they close for the weekend!

Not only did we restock beef enchiladas and beef taco casserole this morning at Power Fit Meals Friendswood but we dropped a brand new item onto the shelves, popular with our private customers and now available for you to pick up in the store!

Cream cheese and chive bacon bites are hunks of our scratch made low carb bread filled with fresh chives, onion and cream cheese, wrapped in an entire slice of bacon and oven roasted. Great for a snack or a lunch, make sure to let us know what you think of them!

Bakehouse is closed today, but we have strategically placed a couple of cheesecakes at Power Fit Meals Friendswood today for those last minute, guilt free dessert needs - scratch made chocolate ganache caramel and Dubai chocolate!

We've also got hearts of palm gluten-free keto friendly lasagna in stock today, along with samples to try before you buy. So basically your whole mother's Day dinner/dessert is figured out for your gluten-free or sugar conscious mom - you're welcome 🤗

There will also be cannoli samples available.

Sorry, the cannolis are not keto friendly (yet).
