As animal tenders and breeders we sometimes have one or two that has to be culled. Unfortunately, this beautiful Blue Maran Chick hatched with a deformed leg turned all the way backwards. In order to ensure that it feels love before we dispatch it, I let my little boy love on him.

Hatching eggs are available for $15.00 per dozen.
I can also ship eggs throughout the United States, with the buyer responsible for shipping and handling costs.

Locally, I have three Black Maran roosters born January 20th that require new homes, with one resembling my Black rooster in the second picture.

ISO info on what breed(s) this beautiful rooster may be?! I bought him in a bunch of 14 mixed Maran’s, all of which were black except 2 blues and 2 lavenders and then there him. I know he has Ayam Semani due to the black skin, combs, and feet. I’m not sure what else because I have “Zombie Chickens and they are all white with black accents. This boy has a lot of yellows, plus blues and greens in the black feathers. Thinking of separating him and adding a couple of black hens to go with him to hatch some eggs. I’m just curious who else has a “redheaded step child” that they don’t know the lineage on?!
