This isn't just a folding knife. This is a symbol of what happens when two people ( and ) have a vision to build the best
knives and make them in America. When you buy one of these (and yes this was bought so no paid endorsement here) you too are saying you believe that made in the USA means something to you. That you believe the over 100 American manufacturing jobs in Missoula Montana making these knives have more value than the overseas jobs created by $50 folders at big box stores.

I am no knife expert. I am not an outdoorsman. This is more knife than I've ever had. This is about supporting the American dream and believing we can bring back manufacturing in this country if you care enough and create a great product. And that is what has done.

What a weekend at the food and wine festival. This event is a world class culinary event featuring some the best in the business. In just their second year they put together an event that rivals the top culinary festivals in the country. This year over 30 chefs helped create four days of memorable bites and food memories we will not forget. Headlined by the incomparable his intimate dinner featured five incredible courses (the highlight being his gnocchi with his sauce...sooo good!) with paired by Master Sommelier . Other highlights of the weekend included and his gochuchang spiced lamb lollipops, a surprising raisin cracker with pimento cheese from Eden Bakery, an amazing spread from and the crew at the Icehouse in Frisco and a mind blowing 🤯🤯🤯pork belly bao bun from . Also got to swing the clubs and play with the one and only - while we shouted "victory" many times we only took second place.

This entire weekend was against the backdrop of the - one the the premiere luxury golf destinations in the world with some the best hospitlaity you will experience.

If food fests are your thing...do yourself a favor and get to Frisco next year for this annual epicurean event.

So simple...so good. Rubbed some pork loins with our housemade Jabba the Butt Rub and cooked them to perfection on the . Love that I could smoke low and slow to get a great smoke flavor (thanks .inc apple for that beautiful smoke flavor) and then get a nice sear with the dual zone cooking on the Primo. If you're looking for a smoker that can do it all the American made Primo is what you need!

I had the privelage of attending the grand opening for the new Montana Knife Company facility this past weekend. It was an amazing experience and what they have built as a scrappy American made brand is astonishing. Started in 2020 in Josh Smith garage with his wife and soon joined by Brandon Horoho has grown to a brand that is resonating deeply with those that love and appreciate made in America quality. They now have over 100 team members, a brand new state of the art manufacturing facility and retail space that combines another proud American company Black Rifle Coffee Company and great MKC products. They are writing the American dream and thousands of people showed up to show they believe too.

They started the event Friday night with the Pledge of Allegiance...it was the first time I had ever been to an event that started like this (and I do a lot of events with my real job) and it was perfect. 600 invited supporters, friends and team all joined in unison for this moment...removed their hats (and there were lots of cowboy and trucker hats!) and showed their patriotism. Which is, at its core, what MKC is all about.

Perfect medium rare perfection from end to end!

You get that when you reverse sear on an 🇺🇸 American made . It holds temp like a champ...locked in at 250° and held steady without touching it! We used .inc hickory and sliced up using my 🇺🇸 American made chefs knife.
