Sierra Negra Mexican Dark Lager

Sierra Negra means Black Mountain. An extinct volcano in Puebla, Mexico. The road to its peak is the highest in North America.

Dan brewed this as a love letter to the Amber Cerveza, what happened when German lager culture collided with Mexico in the 1800s. The story behind it runs personal. Growing up on the Mexican border, this was the style that meant something. A dark lager with your dad. No occasion necessary.

Deep ruby. Brown bread, toffee, toasted caramel. 5.3%
