We had a fantastic time this afternoon at Marriott Ranch. They hosted a company picnic for a business from NVA. We had the privilege to provide our family fun activity of axe throwing. We had friendly co-worker competitions, sibling rivalaries, mom's, dad's and children that loved every minute of sticking axes! If you are looking to book a corporate event this venue is truly amazing and highly recommended! Beautiful scenery, is well organized and fun for everyone.
​Also, the catering: that food smelled so good we almost traded axes for a plate. 10/10 self-control on our end.

This year marks ten years of The Ocho broadcast on ESPN and this year we're back to show everyone the world’s best axe and knife throwers with the World Axe and Knife Throwing Championship IX broadcast on Saturday August 8th.

DMV native Mark Tennant of Front Royal is making headlines after becoming the first Virginian to win a World Axe Throwing League (WATL) championship.

Just four years after he took up axe throwing, Mark Tennant was named Hatchet World Champion at the 9th annual World Axe Throwing Championship. Tennant, 52, of Front Royal, earned the title April 19 at a competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
