βοΈ Ravenwood Faire 2026 - Frequently Asked Questions βοΈ
We've been getting lots of great questions, so we've put together this FAQ to help you plan your visit!
π Will there be a Royal Feast this year?
No. Since this is our first year at our new home, our focus is on making this year's Faire the best experience possible. A Royal Feast is definitely in our future, we just need time to work through the logistics. It may even become its own standalone event!
β€οΈ Is Ravenwood Faire your biggest fundraiser of the year?
Yes! Ravenwood Faire is the Ravenwood Foundation's largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the Faire go directly back into the Ravenwood Foundation, helping us provide free and low-cost educational programs, youth initiatives, camps, scholarships, community events, and hands-on learning opportunities throughout Frederick County & Wi******er City, soon branching out to the Shenandoah Valley. Every ticket purchased helps us continue making a positive impact in our community.
**We're also proud that a portion of every year proceeds are donated to breast cancer research, helping support an important cause beyond our own community.**
π What is the address?
North Mountain Vineyard & Winery
4374 Swartz Road
Maurertown, VA 22644
πΎ Are dogs allowed?
Yes! Friendly, leashed pets are welcome. Please clean up after your pet and be mindful of other guests.
ποΈ Do I need tickets to attend?
Yes. Tickets are required and can be purchased in advance here:
https://ravenwoodfaire.ticketspice.com/ravenwood-faire-2026
πͺ Will tickets be sold at the gate?
Yes! Tickets will also be available for purchase at the entrance during the event.
π« Are tickets good all weekend?
It depends on the ticket you purchase! Single-day tickets are valid for one day, while weekend passes give you access all weekend.
π° Will there be permanent structures?
Not this year. We're already planning for permanent buildings as Ravenwood Faire continues to grow, but this year's village will have the familiar feel you've enjoyed in the past, with merchant tents, entertainment areas, and themed spaces.
π Is parking free?
Yes! Parking is completely free.
π Can I leave and come back?
Absolutely! Just be sure to get your hand stamped before leaving for re-entry later that day.
π³ Will vendors accept credit cards?
Most vendors accept credit and debit cards, but not all. We recommend bringing some cash just in case.
π§ Will there be an ATM?
No. There will not be an ATM on-site, so please bring cash if you'd like to have it available.
πΆ Will there be Wi-Fi available for vendors?
The area has strong 4G/5G cellular service, and we will have limited private-use Wi-Fi available from the main building using a 1Gb fiber connection with a few repeaters.
That said, we cannot guarantee cellular performance or Wi-Fi availability, especially with a large number of attendees. We strongly encourage vendors to have a backup plan for processing payments, such as an alternate hotspot or offline payment option.
π§οΈ What if it rains?
Ravenwood Faire is a rain-or-shine event unless severe weather creates unsafe conditions.
π§ Is the Faire family-friendly?
Absolutely! There will be entertainment, shopping, demonstrations, interactive experiences, and activities for guests of all ages.
πͺ Can I bring my own chairs?
Yes! Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome for enjoying the performances.
π₯€ Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted. We'll have an incredible selection of food vendors, drinks, and treats available throughout the Faire.
βοΈ Can I wear garb?
Absolutely! We love seeing everyone dressed for the occasion. Whether you're a knight, fairy, pirate, Viking, noble, or villager, costumes are encouraged, but never required.
Have another question? Leave it in the comments! We'll continue updating this FAQ as we get closer to opening weekend. We can't wait to welcome everyone to Ravenwood Faire's new home!
