Hello Everyone 👋🏾I hate to be the barer of bad news….but we will not be ready to open today. I am still catering and that was all I could cook and smoke today by this time. I truly apologize😔

We will be here tomorrow. And we will be ready ready. Starting at noon Sunday.

Hello Everyone 👋🏾… in all honesty I don’t know what to expect this weekend but we will be putting in the work💯

This summer was mostly about proving to ourselves that we can do this..and we are doing it. EJ keeps me in line. One of the reasons we do what we do is to build for our children and family and the ones to come. The goal is to provide great tasting and quality food that you will enjoy and look forward to. That’s always been the goal. The mission is to become a sustainable food brand (this is when I get the blank “I don’t know what to say stares.”) But that has always been our mission. Edwin loved to cook for people. He would run me all over NOVA when we were open because he never liked to say we were out of what you came to us to receive. Drove me crazy and made me love him more at the same time because he cared for anyone who walked through that door and we were able to fix a plate.

I am not one to back away from a challenge that is for me…but I tell ya what guys…this is the most enduring and radical thing I’ve ever done. And you know what else? It had to be done because we will complete our mission. Ever since we started all we wanted to do was touch souls and make people feel good when they eat. I know that feeling…it can become a part of memories. I’ve always said we are not a restaurant or a fast food joints I’ve always meant that. We use the doors we were able to get through to feed people…all people and we plan to feed ALL PEOPLE. We were not born into business or corporate. We (Po Green’s) were born out of love and knowing we all have a purpose to show, do and spread love. I love to feed people. I love that you guys love our cooking. We want you to be proud when you can go into the store and pick up our products with confidence and pride because it will represent the Shenandoah Valley and my and Edwin’s roots.

I wanted to share that before I announced that due to a catering I agreed to do a few days ago we will open today at 2pm.

I don’t know why things happen the way it has…but I do know the mission.

I won’t be able to prepare in time to feed you today. But we will be back to it starting next weekend.

Good evening Everyone. I hope you are enjoying the week. Here is my update for Pick Up Orders: Guys I’m tracking down my propane issue all by myself (currently loaded with hoses of all shapes and sizes…so if any of you good people work with gas lines or know someone please reach out🙏🏾💚). Need my oven and flat top…

I’ll be there tomorrow working on the repair and praying to have it fixed for opening on Sunday. I’ll be back tomorrow to let you guys know what’s up. Have a good evening and start to your weekend. Please enjoy this one we have been given💕

Hello Everyone 👋🏾! Tomorrow will be hot and I’m working on a propane pressure situation (for the stove range). If I don’t post this now I’ll be up all night trying to figure out a way to make it happen💯

We will be closed this Sunday. We will monitor the weather to determine next Sunday but we do plan on serving it up next Sunday.

I apologize if this weekend’s schedule has affected anyone as we truly look forward to getting back to that pick up window. Looking forward to seeing you soon💚

Hello Everyone 👋🏾! Catering is taking over the kitchen and Bertha for this weekend and the week ahead 💚💫 I am truly grateful for the business. It does limit space and time to open up the trailer but we look to at least open for Sunday meals during this busy catering time. You guys hang tight…we are in for an awesome ride. And we truly thank you for your support🫶🏾
