Our new brochure covering 2026/2027 is finally done and here! We are finishing up the busiest domestic season we have ever seen and are working hard to get ready for hunting season. We should have cut sheets updated online soon. We have added some new and awesome brats and fresh sausage varieties, as always we test them all out before we offer them to you so you can trust if we offer it, we like it. We appreciate all of our awesome customers that have grown this business for so many years.

After much thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision not to participate in processing Mesa County Fair livestock this year from the sale.

This was not an easy decision. For more than 20 years, it has been our privilege to be a processor at the sale. We have always appreciated the opportunity to serve the families and businesses of this great community and have enjoyed being a small part of the hard work, dedication, and memories that the fair represents.

We know this change may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. We are especially grateful to the many customers who have reached out with their support and understanding.

For those needing processing services for this year’s fair animals, we recommend Homestead Meats and Old World Meats. We encourage you to contact them as soon as possible to make arrangements.

We remain committed to providing the quality service you’ve come to expect, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community for many years to come.

We have a full time meat cutter/kill floor position open. Experience in both preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Starting pay $25-30/hr. 6 days/ week required during hunting season. Weekends off January-August. We offer benefits also. Call us 970-858-3333 to set up an interview.

🔪🥩 Next GEN Producers Behind the Scenes at D&M Meats! 🥩🔪

Today, our group had the incredible opportunity to visit D&M Meats and get a firsthand look at the beef processing industry.

From seeing a beef harvested and the process of getting it onto the rail, to watching the carcass be expertly broken down into individual retail cuts, our participants gained a valuable understanding of what happens after cattle leave the ranch.
Connecting the dots from pasture to plate is an important part of agricultural education, and experiences like this help our youth better understand every step of the beef supply chain.

A huge thank you to D&M Meats LLC for opening your doors and letting Next GEN Producers take over your shop for the morning! We are especially grateful for your continued support as a repeat Youth Advocate Sponsor of our program. Your investment in the next generation of agriculture is making a lasting impact.
