Third times a charm! ☘️
Thank you CSUSM and Rincon for allowing Pioche Food Group to teach & mentor the Youngsters in the Indigi-licious/Sovereign Shores Cooking Workshop! We really enjoyed it & going to miss our little chefs!
It was our privilege & honor to work with a great bunch of young people of different tribes. We learned a lot about their culture & foods as well. 👍
This last session was gnarly! Chef Justin was challenged to fillet different kinds of fish. 🐟🐠🐡 Roc fish, blue ling cod, sand dabs, scallops, something else.. The fish were gorgeous!! (& really, really yummy!! 😋) Thank you fishies for giving your life for us. 🙏🏼❤️
Sovereign Shores is a yearlong, Tribally guided cultural and environmental education program reconnecting Native youth with their coastal homelands through traditional foodways, ethnobotany, ocean safety, and stewardship teachings.
This was definitely a highlight in our career! Thank you for this opportunity! Ahe'hee! 🙏🏼
