Autumn has arrived 🍂 and cozy days call for warm kitchens. Here’s a little peek at what I’ve been cooking.

• Mixed greens with goat cheese, pepitas, craisins, candied pecans, fresh figs and balsamic glaze
• Crispy chicken breasts with lemony Parmesan quinoa, carrots and parsnips with fresh dill and sourdough toast
• Chicken Parmesan with Linguini
• Homemade sourdough from my favorite beginner recipe
• Spatchcocked roasted chicken with fresh vegetables, orange, lemon and parsley

Looking for a Thanksgiving side dish? Try these festive baked sweet potatoes! Recipe below

Shoutout to my good friend .zrn13 for the coolest new chef knife. I absolutely love it!

3-4 sweet potatoes sliced thin
1 garlic clove minced
1 shallot chopped
6 tblsp butter
2 tbslp olive oil
2 tblsp hot honey
1 1/2 tblsp fresh sage (reserve half for garnish)
1 tblsp fresh thyme
1 tsp fresh ground nutmeg
1 tsp orange zest
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/2 cup pomograntes
1/3 cup crumbled goat cheese

Coat sliced sweet potatoes in butter herbed mixture. Shingle in skillet and bake at 350 F for 50 minutes tinted with foil. Add dish of hot water to the oven to help potatoes steam. Remove foil, brush on melted butter and bake for another 15 minutes. Top with pomogranets, crumbled goat cheese and fresh sage.
