Amidst the storm rolling thru yesterday we were able to get half our sheep flock transported over to another location to graze for a week or so while Nathan cuts the surrounding hay (finally found another hay window! 🥳). It took some skilled driving to get the two wheel drive f450 and the big stock trailer thru the muddy, winding woods area before the clearing! Nathan made it happen, as always. Farming is a never ending adventure.

We had to do a quality control check on the latest lambs we took in...and oh my, they passed with flying colors. These were the best lambs we have ever taken in. And Nathan and I both agreed these were the tastiest lamb chops we had ever had.

Salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and butter.

It's always a thrill to see the first bale of the season hit the ground! Whoo! 🥳 Nathan has been busy greasing, changing tractor oil and filters, and doing all the things that baling hay requires. A lot goes into it, and the livestock depend on it!
