Lavender season is officially over —sigh— now onto distilling the essential oil and bottling up that fragrant scent to enjoy during the months we’re not in bloom 💜

So now it’s time to start wandering and gathering beautiful stems from other parts of the farm 🌸

I do so much better focusing on one thing at a time. Multi-tasking is just not my thing…. I’m that person who turns down the radio when she pulls into a parking lot because, ya’ know you park better that way 🤣 anyone else?!

It’s been a few minutes since I’ve seen you my friends. Lots of family fun -on and off the farm- keeping my heart joyful and happy💜

But now I’m back and knee deep in the purple blooms!! I truly appreciate the beauty of this fragrant plant, the scent is captivating. In fact, I think I’ve absorbed so much into my body that I have become a human aromatherapy diffuser 🤣

I love spending time in nature. And even though farm tasks are plentiful, pruning lavender slows me down and allows me to breathe in the beauty of moments like this 💜

Don’t mind me….. I’m just hanging out in the “art niche” waiting for spring to arrive 🌸💜

What’s an art niche you ask?

Well…. we have this awkward space in our stairway called an art niche. A cool spot to display cool art I guess 🤷‍♀️

I’m definitely not an artist but I am a flower farmer, so we decided it was a perfect spot to display a few bunches of dried flowers from our farm 🌸🌺🌻🌼 kinda cool idea, eh?!
