If anyone is interested, I have a a half beef that will be ready in two weeks. If your interested get ahold of me within a week and you can still have it cut to your specs. This is grass fed grain finished beef. Had a customer run into financial problems. So the half is now available. Can only do quarters if it’s split amongst friends or family it it will be cut all the same.

Animal agriculture is more than feeding people. At its core, it’s about a love for animals in a way that is so completely different from owning a pet.

It’s giving up your weekends to get chores done for the animals.

It’s going out in any kind of weather just to feed them, because they rely on you.

It’s (sometimes) working a full time job to help support their vet and feed costs.

It’s dropping other things to prioritize when an animal is sick, and ensuring it gets the proper care it deserves to feel better, faster.

It’s lingering just a little longer by the pasture to watch them play around and show their personalities.

It’s decorating your house with cattle decor because that’s how much you enjoy them.

It’s knowing you could have chosen any other passion, career, lifestyle you wanted but realizing you wouldn’t have been happy if you didn’t have these animals in your life.

Yes, many of us in agriculture have businesses where we make an income off the animals we grow, but, all of that is pointless and unsuccessful if we don’t first have a heart bursting full of love for these creatures we are lucky enough to raise.
