Illusion Farm will be offering to the public for stud service the imported shire stallion Deighton Samuel. Samuel has sired or the grand sire to some of the breeds finest. He will be in Florida in the Ocala area until the end of April and then he will be at stud in Maine for the rest of the season. Producing outstanding foot, leg and feather, nice action and overall a balanced horse with size. Excellent disposition. Sires a lot of blacks especially with black mares. Today the foals had their feet trimmed. Not bad but you know why you start them young. 😊It was getting dark but this little lady was trying to be a big girl. Super nice filly. Will halter very well. She has a great mind and I believe will be a great cart horse. Excellent under pinning! she is available as well as a black c**t. Feel free to share. ❤️

Are we proud. You bet we are!!!
We would like to announce that three mares that were born and bred here have been doing a great job out there being shown. At the American National Shire Show the beautiful 4 yr old mare Illusion Farms Rustic Raina was the 2019 Gr Champion mare and she went onto BOB. This mare has done some nice winning. Illusion Farms Samuels Sensation won a quality packed yearling filly class and then went to Jr Champion mare. She was shown just once prior to this and won a class of 10 yearlings and Jr Champion. These two mares are owned by Kim Smith, Westwind Farm and capably fitted and presented by Don and Kerry Lowes. The beautiful Illusion Farms Rustic Liberty a 3 yr old has done well going overall breeds Grand Champion at Skowhegan fair and Grand Ch mare at Litchfield mare. She has had many wins since a weanling. More to come from these mares. We have two beautiful foals available. One a full brother to Sensation and 1/2 to Liberty. Also a top notch filly by Samuel out of our beautiful Illusion Farms Rustic Remembrance. Inquire about the foals. They will show and do well in the right hands.

Liberty has done remarkable in the line classes. Sensation just went to her first show. She won the yearling filly class of 10 and went onto Jr champion. Sensation is a full sister.
