Fresh Vegetables at Gaither Mercantile on Saturday, June 6 from 10:00-12:00. Docs’s Farm, Garry McFerrin, and MeMaw’s Treats (Carolyn Reese) will be set up out front. Mrs. Reese joins us to sell pastries, bread, cakes, and many sweets. Fresh Veggies will include green beans, cabbage, potatoes, sweet corn, squash, zucchini, green tomatoes, and sweet banana peppers. We also have jars from fall crops of green beans, purplehull peas, zipper cream peas, and baby lima butterbeans. We will pick again early Saturday morning, so come on down to get very fresh vegetables.

Saturday, May 30 —10:00-12:00 at Gaither Mercantile. Docs’ Farm and Garry McFerrin will have fresh vegetables and canned vegetables out front. —Cabbage, potatoes, green beans (Rattlesnake), squash, zucchini, banana peppers, green tomatoes, and a few red tomatoes. We also have jars of green beans, purplehull peas, zipper creme peas, and a few baby lima butterbeans from the fall crop. Come on down to Gaither Mercantile on Saturday morning.

Fresh vegetables at Gaither Mercantile on Saturday morning, May 23. Docs’ Farm and Garry McFerrin will be set up from 10:00–12:00. We will have plenty of squash, potatoes, cabbage, and zucchini. We will also have a few fresh green beans and peppers. Jars of purple hull peas, baby lima butterbeans, zipper cream peas, and green beans from the fall crops are also available. Tomatoes are getting closer—Check out the picture below taken 2 days ago/Wednesday—Corn in the background also. Come on down on Saturday morning.

Get your first fresh vegetables of the year at Gaither Mercantile on Saturday morning, May 16. Docs’ Farm and Garry McFerrin will be set up out front from 10:00 until 12:00. We will have the following: Cabbage, squash, new potatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and maybe a few English peas and onions. We will also have jars of Purple Hull Peas, Zipper Creme Peas, Blue Lake Stringless Beans, and a few Baby Lima Butterbeans —all jars canned from the fall crops. Come on down at 10:00!
