Marry a Marine because they were forced to dig foxholes and are now fab at all things digging. Like a sweet little meerkat, Evan has gotten halfway through the trench dig. Not too much farther to go. But honestly, who tf thought it was a chill idea to require pipes to be buried IN CLAY OF ALL THINGS. I love this land but clay is NO JOKE.

Evan has always been the one with the green thumb in the family, but I’m not totally helpless. My goal for the cabin is to have as many indoor plants as I can get away with, and the first is this cutie Fiddle-leaf Fig I saved from Aldi.

(And you can see a peek of my countertops and new green kitchen)
