Happy World Bee Day from all of us at Hollow Hickory Homestead! 🐝🍯

Today we’re celebrating the tiny workers that do so much for our farms, gardens, food, and way of life. Bees are responsible for pollinating so many of the things we enjoy every day, and without them, the world would look a whole lot different.

We’re thankful every day for our buzzing girls and all the hard work they do out in the hives. So today, take a second to appreciate the bees, plant some flowers, support your local beekeepers, and spread a little sweetness. 💛

It’s finally here… our website is officially LIVE! 🎉

This has been something we’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes for a while now, and seeing it all come together feels pretty special. What started as a simple idea has grown into a space where you can shop all your favorite products anytime, from anywhere.

From our honey and sweet treats to our handcrafted goods—it’s all just a click away now, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.

This is a big moment for our small business, and it wouldn’t mean nearly as much without the support we’ve received along the way. Every purchase, kind word, and bit of encouragement has helped us get here—and we’re so grateful for it all.

On Monday, we had the Boy Scouts out at the homestead to learn all about bees.

We walked through how the hives work, what each bee’s role is, and what it takes to keep a colony healthy. They asked great questions and weren’t afraid to get up close to see everything in action.

We always appreciate the chance to share what we do and talk about why bees matter.

Over the past year, we’ve been a little quieter on social media due to personal reasons—but behind the scenes, we’ve still been busy doing what we love and continuing to bring you our products.
