Sellmeyer Farm Fresh, local produce grown within a 50 mile radius of Columbia, MO and sold at Columbia Farmers Mark We specialize in early strawberries.

We grow a wide range of vegetables, fruit, herbs, ginger, turmeric and plants. Also garlic, heirloom tomatoes, potatoes and sweet potatoes, growing many different varieties of each.

We're back! After a failed crop last year in which not only did we not have a crop of sweet potatoes but that meant we didn't have any for slipping for this years crop. We lost a lot of the 75 varieties we had and had to purchase slips. We are down to about 10 varieties now and several of them are new to us. The good news is we planted more of each of these varieties so we planted the same number of slips we normally do (7,000). Even though we got them planted a month late because of knee replacements, a broken ankle and blood clot issues, the harvest has been the best we've had in a few years. We were having deer problems so built a deer fence. It's amazing how much better things grow when not being munched on by critters! But we couldn't have got the fence built or the sweet potatoes planted or harvested without the help of our kids Lucas and Megan. So with all that being said we hope to see you this Saturday at the Columbia Farmers Market!
