RiverRoad Olive Oil is a small company that manages and produces EVOO oil from our Arbequina trees, and from a few local Family owned orchards in Sonoma County California. We are a small local Sonoma County olive oil producer who hand harvest our olives with love.
River Road Olive Oil started producing EVOO in 2013, we are a small family owned company that manages and produces olive oil from our grove of Spanish Arbequina and Tuscan trees, and we also manage and produce oil from several local family owned orchards with Italian and Spanish varieties. This region is tempered by the cool coastal breezes and the beautiful fog that is often rolling in through the hills. Our goal is to produce freshest Extra Virgin Olive Oil, to be used alone or as an accompaniment to many great foods. We hand harvest our trees as a labor of Love and we mill within hours of harvest. All of our olives are cold pressed to produce the highest quality of EVOO possible. We are certified by the COOC-California Olive Oil Council, and have to meet their very rigid standards to qualify as extra virgin oil. In 2016 we entered into the Sonoma County Harvest Fair and won a Double Gold medal for our Arbequina oil. In 2017 we won a Silver medal for our Tuscan Blend oil and a Bronze for our Leccino oil. We hope to get our oil into your homes, and help you understand and gain knowledge of the healthy benefits of a good quality EVOO. The amazing flavors of a fresh quality EVOO all depends on the variety of olive tree and when the olives are harvested.
