We proudly offer fresh free-range eggs that are gathered daily and raised with care from our happy hens! 🐣 $4 per dozen!

The storm last night made quite the mess back by our coop but thankfully all of the chickens are safe and sound! You would never even know they had a bad night for how excited they were to find all the worms after a rain!

We got some chicks for this broody hen yesterday! She was so happy and accepted them instantly. They have been too cute bonding to their mama and learning how to drink water for the first time! 🥰🐣

Anyone have any name suggestions for these new additions to our flock?!

Meet Kelly! She is one of the sweetest hens in our flock. She was born with a broken leg joint that we unfortunately did not recognize until it was too late. But her disability does not stop her one bit! She is a high production egg layer and forages just as much as all our other hens. We love her and always keep a special eye on her! ❤️

Hi everyone!

We are the Mooshegians — the supporting husband and chicken obsessed wife behind Moosehead Ranch / Egg Shack 🐣🥰

We started our little farm in 2025, by raising happy, healthy hens and we have now started to share our fresh, local free-range eggs with our community.

What began as a small flock quickly turned into something we truly love and providing farm-fresh eggs straight from our coop to your table is taken very seriously to us.

Our hens are part of our family, raised with care, plenty of space to roam, and lots of attention. We gather eggs daily to make sure you’re getting the freshest eggs possible.

Thank you for supporting our small farm and following along on this journey. We plan to share our girls’ daily adventures and a lot more on our page! Your support means the world to our growing family!
