The countdown is officially on! Fall will be here before we know it, and that means one of Waterloo's favorite traditions is just around the corner.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another great PumpkinFest filled with local vendors, community fun, and everything that makes fall in Waterloo special.

Remember those little pumpkin plants we set out a little over 3 weeks ago! Thanks to good moisture and warm temperatures they are not so little anymore!

We gave them a sidedress applicator of some nitrogen and a little sulfur yesterday and they should be ready to run!

We have been busy on the farm the last few weeks and finally slowed down to share an update! We seeded pumpkin transplants, baled straw, sprayed our pumpkin field for weeds, mowed the wheat stubble, fertilized and just finished our last day of transplanting pumpkin plants last night.

They would appreciate some rain with this heat but with the moisture from the rain last week they should be off to a good start!
