Rooster Ridge Farm

Rooster Ridge Farm We are a family-owned and operated farm that strives to be good stewards of what God has given us.

Our journey as farmers began back in 1999 when we were lead to start a chicken farm operation. In 2015 due to circumstances beyond our control, the company that we partnered with went out of business and we were suddenly out of business ourselves. We then converted two of our chicken houses into greenhouses, with the help of friends and church family, to grow sweet potato slips. After five years i

t became clear it was more than our small family could handle and was not supporting us. We needed to find out how to support our farm in a different way. With the changes in our world at large, we saw a need to be able to feed our family independent of the outside market and purchased cattle to fill this need. Friends and acquaintances approached us about doing the same for them and out of the need of others our Cattle journey has begun. Our mission is to be good stewards and be conscious of the gifts we have been given and share them with those that have the same needs and desires. Our desire is to give you the best quality meat possible at a fair price that you may be able to feed your family and enjoy time together around the table building lasting memories and a bond that will last longer than the meal that is put before you!

This weekend and throughout the week, we’re busy making deliveries to customers who have patiently waited for their beef—and we couldn’t be more thankful! 🥩❤️
One of our customers cooked up some steaks tonight and sent me this message:

“We grilled some fresh steaks tonight, and our son took his first bite and said, ‘Mmmmmmmmm!!! This tastes like HEAVEN!!!!!!!!’”
Needless to say, another delicious bundle of beef! 😋

We are so thankful for the families who trust us to help feed their families with quality, farm-fresh beef. It means more to us than you know! ❤️🐂

Thank you for supporting our farm and allowing us to do what we love!

God’s beauty never ceases to amaze me. Double rainbow over the farm tonight . God’s mercies are new each day and His promises never fail .

As a local cattle farmer, I'm concerned about reports that more imported beef will enter the U.S. market from Mexico , in the coming months which is where the screwworm epidemic started,

My concern isn't simply about price—it's about transparency. Did you know that as long as there is some fat from US beef mixed in they can put a USDA stamp on it and put it on the grocery shelf! Coming to a store near you in the next 6months 🤨
I believe consumers deserve to know where their beef comes from, how the cattle were raised, and the standards behind the product they're feeding their families.

While some hope imported beef will lower grocery prices, I worry that price shouldn't come at the expense of quality or consumer confidence. I also believe strong inspection and food safety oversight are essential, especially as global animal health issues continue to emerge.

Recent food recalls and outbreaks—whether involving produce, meat, or other foods—are a reminder that knowing the source of your food matters.

That's one reason I encourage people to support local farms whenever possible.

When you buy directly from a local farmer, you can ask questions, learn how the animals were raised, and know exactly who produced your food.

At Rooster Ridge Farm, we're proud of the way we raise our cattle and grateful for the families who trust us to provide quality beef.

Know your farmer. Know your beef. Buy local whenever you can. 🇺🇸🐂

The moon is beautiful this morning as we load up and head to market with our cattle. 🌕🐮
Eighteen months of hard work, care, and commitment have led to this moment. We don't take lightly the responsibility of being stewards of what God has entrusted to us.
We are truly blessed to raise quality grass-fed beef and to help families put wholesome, farm-to-table food on their tables. Every animal represents months of dedication, and we're grateful for the opportunity to serve our community.
"To whom much is given, much will be required." We thank God for His provision and for each family who supports our farm. ❤️

So thankful for all the rain! 🌧️🐮
The cows are loving the lush, green pastures! After weeks of summer heat and dry conditions putting a strain on the grass, it's amazing to see how quickly God restores His creation.
Thank You, Lord, for this much-needed rain and the beautiful pasture You've provided. Just look at it now! 💚🌱🐄

❤️ Grateful Beyond Words 🐄
Messages like this remind us why we do what we do.

"We have absolutely loved the half cow we got last winter and can't eat beef from the store anymore. The quality in the beef you all raise is so noticeable!"

To all of our amazing customers—thank you. Your trust, kind words, and continued support mean the world to our family. Knowing that families enjoy the beef we work so hard to raise and choose to come back year after year is the greatest compliment we could receive.

At Rooster Ridge Farm, we're committed to raising quality beef with care, and we're honored to be a part of your family's table.

Thank you for supporting local agriculture, believing in our farm, and sharing your experiences with others. We couldn't do this without you, and we're grateful for every returning customer and every new family that joins us.
From our family to yours—thank you for your continued support! ❤️🐄
