Some weeks are just… rough. 🩷

There are days when the to-do list feels endless, the worries feel heavy, and you’re so busy trying to keep everything moving that you forget to stop for a minute and just breathe.

Then, every now and then, a little reminder shows up exactly when you need it.

This morning, that reminder was waiting for us in our rock garden: the cutest, chubbiest little painted cat rock.

It made us smile. It made us pause. And it reminded us that sometimes we really do need to stop and “smell the roses.” Or, in our case… stop and admire the adorable cat rocks.

Life will always have rough patches. The laundry will still be there. The emails will still need answering. The litter boxes definitely aren’t going to clean themselves. But there are also tiny moments of sweetness tucked into the middle of all that chaos.

A kind gesture.
A silly cat.
A pretty flower.
A painted rock left by someone who thought of us.
A few quiet minutes to appreciate something completely unnecessary… but completely wonderful. 💗

Thank you to whoever left this adorable little chonky friend in our garden. You may never know how much a tiny painted rock could brighten someone’s morning.

NEW FALL HOURS!

We have an important announcement from the humans behind the cats…

Starting this fall, Right Meow will be CLOSED ON THURSDAYS.

After nearly 3 years of being open 6 days a week, we’ve realized that the humans need a little breathing room, too.

Thursdays, our historically slowest day, will give us some much-needed time for:
-Rescue work
-Vet appointments
-Deep cleaning
-Maintenance
-Catching up on all the behind-the-scenes stuff

And, honestly… a day to breathe a little.

Running a cat café and a cat rescue is a lot of work, and we want to make sure we have the time and energy to keep doing both well, for the cats, and for our community. ❤️

Come see us on the weekends for your full-on cat therapy fix, or swing by Tuesdays & Wednesdays for a little more of a relaxed, slower-paced visit.

Thank you for understanding, for supporting our crazy mission, and for giving us the chance to take a tiny step back so we can keep moving forward.
