Seven Falls Farm

Seven Falls Farm A beautiful small farm at Hector Creek Valley not far from the Cape Fear and Raven Rock State Park. Hen raised on pasture and 100% Organic Certified feed.

Currently producing and delivering the highest quality eggs possible. Seven Falls Farm current focus is providing eggs that are truly pasture raised, fed non-GMO feed. Here is what makes the eggs of SevenFalls Farm so unique. Raised on rotating pasture. Chickens don’t live in their own mess. They help regenerate a part of the 15 acres at SevenFalls and then move on to new pasture after 2 to 3 mont

hs. All non-GMO feed grown in near by farms to ensure a very high quality of feed. No chemicals are sprayed on the crops to kill insects. No soy and no regular corn is fed (on rare occasion if someone gives me a bag of organic scratch, they will get a small amount of corn in that feed). Please see the following content of what the chickens are fed:

Main Feed:
Milo, peas, alfalfa pellets, Crystal Creek poultry pro minerals, Calcium Carbonate, amino acids:, lysine, methionine, Redmond salt

Scratch:
Wheat & black oil sunflower seeds. Additional calcium: crushed oyster shells

Ideal ratio in our diet for Omega-6 to Omega-3 is 1:1. The average American’s ratio is 20:1. Foods like Potato Chips are 60:1. Grain-fed beef is 9:1 and grass-fed grass finished is 2:1. Commercial eggs are 29:1. “Pasture eggs” are 3:1. The care taken with SevenFalls Farm feed and raising should increase this ratio even closer to 1:1. Additional research and supplementing of feed will be completed in effort to achieve even better omega ratios in the future and will be tested.
