We had a great time at the 2026 Business Expo & Best Taste of Etowah yesterday. Our team took second place for best dessert and second place for best bite. Congratulations guys for a job well done. Thank you Etowah Chamber for hosting such a great event!

Miguel Mateo is Osborn Foodservice’s July Employee of the Month. He has been employed with Osborn for one year as an order selector in the warehouse. Miguel says he loves everything about his job.

Miguel was born in San Miguel, Guatemala and currently resides in Gadsden. He has been married to his wife, Micaela, for 18 years, and they have two boys and two girls.

In his spare time, Miguel is a soccer enthusiast. He also enjoys spending time with his family, working around the house, and listening to Christian music.

Miguel says his greatest accomplishment is his family and purchasing a home.

John Kilgore is Osborn Foodservice’s Sales Team Spotlight for July. John was born in Chicago, Illinois. He currently lives with his wife of 42 years, Abby, in Oakman, Alabama. John says his greatest accomplishment is his family. John and Abby have two children, Brittany, and Riley, and one granddaughter, Palin. They also love animals and have two dogs, Bama and Rosie, and a cat named Alley Cat or “Alabama Cat”.

John attended Walker State. He previously worked for Alabama Food Group and joined Osborn Foodservice in 2009. John says the best part about working at Osborn is building relationships with his customers.

John is an avid Alabama fan. On any given day, he will be sporting some type of Alabama apparel. He collects all kinds of Alabama memorabilia including footballs, posters and championship pictures that he displays in his 60x42 Bama room.

John says he is pretty much an open book. He is most inspired by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his main goal in life is to make it through this world and be accepted into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Congratulations to Ryan Montgomery, Osborn Foodservice’s June Employee of the Month!

Ryan has been a valued member of the Osborn team for the past six months, serving as a truck driver. He enjoys the freedom of being on the road, gaining new experiences, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Originally from Anderson, California, Ryan now calls Hokes Bluff home, where he lives with his wife of 3½ years, Abby, and their adorable 15-month-old twin daughters, Kaliana and Kamara. Their family also includes two beloved dogs, Scarlett and Apollo.

Before joining Osborn, Ryan worked as a caregiver, which is where he met Abby. He also spent time working as a handyman and in construction before earning his CDL and beginning his driving career.

When he’s not on the road, Ryan enjoys spending time with his daughters, taking his family on new adventures, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers, San Francisco 49ers, and Atlanta Braves.

Ryan describes himself as a hard worker and a quiet, fun-loving dad who is dedicated to providing the best life possible for his family. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of nine and raised by his grandparents, Ryan believes those experiences helped shape him into someone with an old soul and a strong work ethic.

Osborn Foodservice is proud to recognize Will White as our June Sales Team Spotlight! Will joined the Osborn team in April 2021, beginning as a truck driver before transitioning into his current role leading Cash & Carry sales. He says the most rewarding part of his job is meeting new people and serving the public.

Originally from McCormick, South Carolina, Will now resides in Gadsden with his wife, Vicky. Together they have three daughters and two grandchildren.

Faith and family are at the center of Will’s life. He attends Friendship Baptist Church in Attalla, where he faithfully serves as a deacon. Will shares that his pastor, Tyson Burwell, has been a tremendous inspiration and a trusted source of guidance and encouragement.

When he’s away from work, Will enjoys spending time outdoors, especially mowing and landscaping — Thursdays are dedicated to yard work. He also loves riding his Ultra Classic Harley-Davidson motorcycle and is a member of the Easy Riders in Anniston, a nonprofit organization that supports charitable causes throughout the year.

Will is also a passionate sports fan, cheering on LSU football, North Carolina Tar Heels basketball, the Pittsburgh Pirates, Dallas Cowboys, and the L.A. Lakers. In his downtime, he enjoys listening to Blues and Southern Soul music, with favorites including Johnnie Taylor, Tucker, and O.B. Buchana.
