Congratulations to Ryan Montgomery, Osborn Foodservice’s June Employee of the Month!

Ryan has been a valued member of the Osborn team for the past six months, serving as a truck driver. He enjoys the freedom of being on the road, gaining new experiences, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Originally from Anderson, California, Ryan now calls Hokes Bluff home, where he lives with his wife of 3½ years, Abby, and their adorable 15-month-old twin daughters, Kaliana and Kamara. Their family also includes two beloved dogs, Scarlett and Apollo.

Before joining Osborn, Ryan worked as a caregiver, which is where he met Abby. He also spent time working as a handyman and in construction before earning his CDL and beginning his driving career.

When he’s not on the road, Ryan enjoys spending time with his daughters, taking his family on new adventures, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers, San Francisco 49ers, and Atlanta Braves.

Ryan describes himself as a hard worker and a quiet, fun-loving dad who is dedicated to providing the best life possible for his family. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of nine and raised by his grandparents, Ryan believes those experiences helped shape him into someone with an old soul and a strong work ethic.

Osborn Foodservice is proud to recognize Will White as our June Sales Team Spotlight! Will joined the Osborn team in April 2021, beginning as a truck driver before transitioning into his current role leading Cash & Carry sales. He says the most rewarding part of his job is meeting new people and serving the public.

Originally from McCormick, South Carolina, Will now resides in Gadsden with his wife, Vicky. Together they have three daughters and two grandchildren.

Faith and family are at the center of Will’s life. He attends Friendship Baptist Church in Attalla, where he faithfully serves as a deacon. Will shares that his pastor, Tyson Burwell, has been a tremendous inspiration and a trusted source of guidance and encouragement.

When he’s away from work, Will enjoys spending time outdoors, especially mowing and landscaping — Thursdays are dedicated to yard work. He also loves riding his Ultra Classic Harley-Davidson motorcycle and is a member of the Easy Riders in Anniston, a nonprofit organization that supports charitable causes throughout the year.

Will is also a passionate sports fan, cheering on LSU football, North Carolina Tar Heels basketball, the Pittsburgh Pirates, Dallas Cowboys, and the L.A. Lakers. In his downtime, he enjoys listening to Blues and Southern Soul music, with favorites including Johnnie Taylor, Tucker, and O.B. Buchana.

Ron Vickery is Osborn Foodservice’s May Employee of the Month. In his first six months, he has stepped into the role of Shipping Manager, quickly taking ownership of logistics operations. Ron says the most rewarding aspect of his role is helping service businesses and schools in the community.

Ron started his career in the distribution industry with Colorado Boxed Beef in 2003. He worked for CBBC for 22 years, gaining valuable experience in shipping, receiving and inventory control, with 15 years of tenure in inventory management.

Ron was born in Fort Stewart, Georgia. He currently lives in Gadsden with his wife of 21 years, Kellie. They have been sweethearts since middle school. They have three daughters, Rena, Layla and Sophia.

During his free time, Ron collects fi****ms and rare foreign currency. He enjoys watching Sons of Anarchy and is a University of Georgia football fan as well as the Atlanta Braves. Ron is also a fan of heavy metal music.

Ron aspires to travel to England to see Stonehenge and visit Halberton where his ancestors hailed from.

Daniel Martin is Osborn Foodservice’s May Sales Team Spotlight. Daniel has been employed with Osborn for over four years. He was born in San Clemente, California and currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama.

Daniel is the proud dad of Kaleb. Daniel says his son is one of his greatest inspirations. He wants to provide Kaleb with more opportunities than he had growing up. He also strives to show him how to treat people with kindness and consistent hard work pays off.

Daniel attended Miles College, Jacksonville State University and has an extensive background in restaurant operations. He has over 35 years’ experience in the foodservice industry.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys coaching his son’s ball teams. He is an avid Alabama sports fan and enjoys all types of music. He also collects baseball cards and coins. Daniel’s bucket list consists of a long road trip to visit the rest of the states he hasn’t seen and one day visiting Australia and Italy.

A little fun fact about Daniel…his father is responsible for coming up with the “All-You-Can-Eat Buffet” at Pizza Hut. His dad was the Vice President of the National Pizza Company in the ‘80’s.

Daniel says the best part of working at Osborn is interacting with his customers and helping them achieve their goals. He also enjoys working with people in the industry, mainly because they care and are genuine.
