The best bee removal ever.
We did a bee removal tonight with the sweetest bees I have ever been around. I have always fully dressed out for a bee removal because with years of experience they normally come out like killer bees when you tear the wood/Sheetrock off the front of their hive in the wall. These bees never from beginning to end got aggressive. For my 1st time EVER (out of the 100’s of bee removals we have done) been able to wear shorts and be barefoot doing a bee removal.
These are my kind of bees!!! I hope these stay with us and progress in an amazing way.
Pictures to follow in next post.
We will be having a Field Day beekeeping class on June 26th (depending on weather).

We will furnish bottle water and snacks, hand outs and door prizes.
Each of you that attend will need to bring your lunch, drinks (if you want something other than water,) a lawn chair, something to take notes with and your bee veil, jacket or suit, (which ever you prefer).
Everyone please pre-register so we will have an idea of how to plan for that day.
I will post a registration sheet that you can print to make registration go faster, or you can register when you get here. But we will need to know if you are coming so please respond to this post with names or give us a call at 256-523-4767.
Well today was my day to catch a swarm on my arm. David was getting a hive ready while I stood at the swarm and watched for the queen. I caught and caged her and by the time David got to me with the hive I almost had them all on my arm.
They were heavy and my arm got tired, but it was fun. I’ve done this before with smaller swarms.
So here’s to another experience in beekeeping in the books.
I got one sting on the wrist after I put the bees in the box.
As you can tell David is not as good as me at videoing. Lol
Our new beekeeper in training, Chase Ragan. He is learning so much and takes everything in that we show and tell him and he is my 2nd cousin so I’m loving getting to spend time with him. Keep up the good work Chase, you will be a beekeeper yourself in a few weeks. ❤️🐝
David and I caught a swarm today. It went back to the limb. I caught and caged the queen the second go round, then David held the cage in his hand and the swarm come to his hand. He got one sting and that was after he put them in the hive.
This is a 3 part video but worth the watch.
I got a swarm call of a swarm on the ground. I did my magic, caught the queens,,
And the bees go marching in.
This is not ours but if interested please call the number listed on add
Sold out
WE HAVE 2 packages of bees left. First come first serve. Have to be picked up Today!!! If you want them they are $135 each. If you want them call ASAP 256-523-4767
It’s been very busy the last couple months around here at LookoutMtnHoneyBees. Building equipment, 8 week bee class, 75 people here for our field day. Package bee and queen pickup the last 2 weekends. We have supplied package bees to customers in South Alabama (as far a Bay Minette), Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and 175 pkgs went to Indiana, our bee supply store was very busy also. God has truly blessed us and all of our customers have made this happen.
Yesterday I had the privilege to help out a beautiful 5 year old to become a beekeeper. Her name is Brealynn and I’ve never saw a child so excited over a bee suit, bee gloves and bees. She was very eager to learn about bees. Yes she was a precious little girl that was just in love with the bees. Brealynn will be helping her grandparents take care of the bees.
When they left here she was in her car seat with her bee suit, gloves and she had to hold a package of bees in her lap. I think she will be a great beekeeper when she grows up. Children getting involved in beekeeping really touches my heart,
And this little one really did.
Keep up the good work Brealynn and learn all you can about the honeybees. ❤️🐝❤️🐝❤️🐝

We feel we have the BEST customers anyone could have.
It is such a relief to us, when we are under such stress to hear our customers say, “ it’s ok, don’t stress, I’m kinda glad it changed, we can’t control the weather, and so many more kind words”. Thank you all for all the kind words and understanding, we appreciate you all more than you could ever know.
