Sometimes the best vacation dinner is the one you bring back to the condo. 🦀🦐

Sweetwater Steamer prepared this four-person Lowcountry boil fresh and had it steaming hot when we picked it up. The boil was $120, and we added three crab clusters for another $60.

No restaurant wait. No cooking. Just open the lid and dig in and it was absolutely delicious.

This is why you skip the highway chains.

Pulled off I-85 in Gaffney, SC and found Smak hiding in an old BBQ joint.

Nothing fancy. Just Eastern European and Central Asian home cooking — and a lamb stew that was absolutely glorious.

These are the places I’m always looking for. The ones you’d never know were there unless somebody told you.
