🐾 Picking back up on an idea I tabled a few years ago…

A few years ago, I started looking for a natural solution for dry, rough paw pads for our dog. I tried a few things, but ultimately tabled the idea.

Recently, I decided it was time to revisit it — with a few important goals in mind: simple ingredients, canine-safe ingredients, effective conditioning for dry paw pads, and something that isn't so enticing that a dog wants to immediately lick it all off.

For this first test, I applied just a small fingertip-sized amount per paw.

🐾 Before: Dry, rough pads that felt scratchy and were actually grabbing against the carpet.

🐾 About 24 hours after ONE application: The pads no longer feel rough and scratchy, and they're no longer grabbing the carpet like they were.

There was a little licking for the first few minutes after application, then he left his paws alone. That's something I'll be working on as I continue refining the formulation.

One application certainly isn't enough to call this finished, but I'm pleased with this first test. Now I'll keep observing how long the improvement lasts before another application is needed.

This is part of what creating solutions looks like — test, observe, adjust and test again. 🌿🐾

Relationships that grow with us. 💚

I’ve known the face behind Holy Rollie Pastry Shop since 2005, so getting to stop by Holy Rollie Pastry Shop and spending time with the owners during our recent Texas trip was more than another small-business connection—it was another chapter in a relationship that has spanned more than 20 years.

Our photo together is from my 2023 visit. We were having so much fun catching up this time that we forgot to take a new one! 😂

Mrs. B’s Solutions has previously had the opportunity to provide our Natural Foam Soap to Holy Rollie Pastry Shop, and during this visit they welcomed a stand of our newly refreshed rack cards and business cards for their community.

And if you haven’t been to Holy Rollie Pastry Shop yet, you’re in for a treat! They’re known for their specialty cinnamon rolls, and we LOVE them! 😋 Their creative flavors put their own spin on a classic favorite.

I’m grateful for relationships like this—small businesses supporting one another and sharing resources with the communities we serve.

🤝 Collaboration is growing!

Recently, Mrs. B's Solutions met with the wonderful owners of Just Love Coffee Cafe - Colerain Township.

I picked up my consignment inventory and received some exciting customer feedback! Their customers especially loved my Natural Foam Soap that was available there last year. Because of that, I'll be restocking by mid-August with a fresh batch of what their customers asked for.

In the meantime, Just Love Coffee Cafe graciously allowed me to place a display stand with my newly rebranded rack cards and business cards, so visitors can continue learning about Mrs. B's Solutions while I prepare the next batch of Natural Foam Soap.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Greater Columbus area, the Cincinnati area through this partnership, customers throughout the United States, and those overseas who order my handmade products through MrsBsSolutions.com.

Five years ago, he designed the original logo for my business, Mrs. B's Homemade Creations LLC, after being highly recommended by Elevate Life Counseling, LLC. When it came time to rebrand under my trade name, Mrs. B's Solutions, I knew exactly who to call.
