New item on the farmstand this Saturday! Herbes de Provence salt. Flaky kosher salt with summer herbs reminiscent of French cooking - basil, thyme, fennel, and lavender. Perfect for summer grilling, roasted potatoes, stews, or sprinkled over a salad. $6 each in 1.5 oz glass jars.

I spent the summer of 2009 in the south of France, and every time I smell lavender my brain immediately goes there. Here are some photos I took driving through the lavender fields of the haute Provence. What an incredible time to be out and about exploring the world. I lived in an ancient little town with no television, phone, or radio for a summer of absolute simplicity. I was staying near the Camargue, a vast protected wetland, and there were lots of retired biologists there so I had plenty of instant friends. Together we took in the sights and spent hours birdwatching and languishing in local cafes drinking rose with our three-hour lunches. My French was terrible. It still is. It didn't matter.

hi friends! farmstand hours on saturday from 10 am to 1 pm.

* bakery - this week suny will be baking three flavours of sourdough: 1) plain, 2) italian herb and cheese, and 3) rye. half-loaves are $6. she will also be baking her delicious apple turnovers - two per package at $6. please get your bakery pre-orders in by thursday noon. we'll make a few extras for walk-ups. this will be the last time we do sourdough from suny before i take my summer break. her bread freezes well in case you'd like to stash some. if suny has any markets at her house over the summer, i will be sure to let you all know.

* garden veg - tomatoes are still coming in! get 'em while you can - i think we'll have one or possibly two more weeks. slicers are $5 per pound. cherry tomatoes are $5 per pint basket.

* eggs are sold out at the moment. message me to get on the wait list.

* pantry - i've got jams, jellies, fire cider, pickles, vanilla extract, fancy schmancy salt blends, and more.

* plants - habanero pepper (one available), Mexican tarragon, spearmint, goldenrod, dwarf mulberry, brown turkey fig, shrub rose, canna Picasso (two available), edible ginger, turmeric, AND MORE.

happy sunday, friends! there are some baskets of cherry tomatoes and a few half-loaves of sourdough leftover from yesterday's farmstand. i'll put them out on the carport table so if you're out and about you can swing by and pick up. tomatoes are $5 per basket; bread is $6 per half-loaf. there is a cash box on the wall next to the fridge or you can venmo me (QR code on fridge).

eggs are sold out! chickens are still laying - i just can't keep the eggs in stock. so if you'd like eggs, please message me and i'll get a wait list going.

thank you all for a wonderful farmstand yesterday. it was hot, hot, hot but so full of laughter, joy, and tomato love :-). i'm so grateful for you all.

it's friday afternoon and my kitchen counter is covered in tomatoes. so many tomatoes. what a fantastic garden year this has been! my table is covered in flowers that will be made into booqs tonight. the flowers were picked early this morning and now they are conditioning - they are resting in a cool spot and hydrating so they are in the best possible shape and will last a long time in bouquets.

with a counter covered in tomatoes and a table covered in flowers, my heart is so happy. i'm excited for tomorrow's market - to have suny drop off her amazing sourdough bread and to see you all. thank you for supporting me to live this life. not every day is glamorous or easy, but today is an especially good one. 🥰

hi friends! there are a couple of baskets of cherry tomatoes out on the carport table if you'd like to swing by today. $5 each. venmo on the side of the fridge or there is a cash box on the wall.

i'll have lots more tomorrow during farmstand hours from 10 am to 1 pm. there will be LOTS of tomatoes, jams, jellies, vanilla extract, hickory smoked salt with rosemary from the garden, and more. i just cut a bunch of beautiful blooms to make booqs tonight!

all half-loaves are $6. we'll have some extras for walk-up customers.

the tomatoes are looking GORGEOUS this week and i have plenty for everyone. let's eat 'em up while we can - tomato season never lasts long enough :-)

hi friends! farmstand hours on saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. suny from Darcy's Dough & Delicacies will be baking her DELISH sourdough bread. tomatoes and cucumbers are fresh from the garden, and i'll have chicken eggs, pantry items, and plants.

* bakery - this week suny will be baking three flavours of sourdough: 1) plain, 2) italian herb and cheese, and 3) cinnamon raisin. half-loaves are $6. please get your bakery pre-orders in by thursday noon. we'll make a few extras for walk-ups.

* garden veg - tomatoes are still going strong! get 'em while you can. slicers are $5 per pound. cherry tomatoes are $5 per pint basket. i also have cucumbers and possibly a few other bits and bobs from the garden.

* pantry - i've got jams, jellies, fire cider, vanilla extract, fancy schmancy salt blends, and more. there are two or three bottles of Meyer lemon extract remaining. only one jar of Meyer lemon and rosemary salt left.

* plants - so many plants! habanero pepper (one available), Mexican tarragon, spearmint, goldenrod, dwarf mulberry, brown turkey fig, shrub rose, canna Picasso (two available), AND MORE. please come browse.
