It is with immense sadness that we have to make a post like this. Our community has experienced a heartbreaking loss—one that we know will be felt for a very long time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the families affected by this tragic accident, and especially with Abel’s family as they lay their beautiful boy to rest on Monday.
If you are able, we have included the family’s GoFundMe below for those who would like to help support them during this incredibly difficult time. Every prayer, kind word, and act of support means more than you may ever know.
We also want to share a couple of ways our Bobcat family is coming together to support Abel’s family. During our annual Bobcat Bash, our President and her family will be selling lemonades, and a portion of the proceeds from every lemonade sold will go directly to Abel’s family. In addition, our local Sonic is selling coupon cards, with the proceeds from those sales also going directly to the family. If you’re at Bobcat Bash and would like a lemonade or a Sonic coupon card, we’d love to see you—but please know that there is absolutely no expectation. These are simply small ways our community can come together and show this family some extra love and support.
