Each summer we move our bees up North to escape the Florida heat. They thrive on cooler temps and plentiful food sources while there. They’ll return shortly before our Fall Festival. We’ll see you then!

Thank you for joining us this strawberry season! We welcomed many new faces and loved seeing so many regulars come back. As we remember the record freezes alternating with hot weather, we are thankful that the season went so well. We appreciate each and every one of your visits to the farm and your kind encouragements. We are so thankful for our family and friends (which includes staff!) who make it all possible by offering support in many ways. We couldn’t ask for better!

We’ll see you again in October for our Fall Festival! In the meantime, we’ll be busy making honey!

As our days continue to warm up and drought conditions persist, we have decided that this Saturday will be our last weekend opportunity to visit the farm. So, if you are a weekender, come and see us one last time! Otherwise, stay tuned for your last opportunities next week. You’ll want to take advantage of strawberry and onion sales and stock up on honey before we close. We still have plenty of beautiful berries on the bushes, but you will also see some that are overripe or damaged, so we wanted to give a little extra reward for picking.

Our strawberries will be $3 a pound this week and our strawberry onions are $1 each! Slight change of plan! We’ve been assessing our strawberry field and see that the berries are ripening so quickly that we have too many! It’s a wonderful problem to have, but we want to get them picked so we will be having a sale for our big pickers this weekend. Buy two 5 pound buckets and get one free! It’s a great time to make jam, do some baking, or just freeze them to enjoy throughout the year. Come see us!

It’s peak season and we’re in the mood to celebrate with a few extra fun things to enjoy! Come join us for our Strawberry Jamboree during Spring Break! As always, you are welcome to come pick strawberries, shop our store, and enjoy a snack without an admission fee. However, if you are looking for some extra excitement then we’ll have all the usual fun in our recreation area, but we’ll also have our animals, hot lunch foods, face painting on select days, and a few other fun extras all for our usual admission price of $3 per person!
