Here at Arto Moro tempeh, we are still working hard to handmake each batch of tempeh for our local partners. We understand the Corona virus is a serious matter and we are not taking it lightly. We are following all prescribed protocols to ensure safe production and distribution of this amazing tempeh so that we can continue to nurish our community when it needs it the most.

In the meantime, while we wait for this pandemic to come to an end, enjoy this meatless monday inspiration. Tempeh Florentine served over garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed peppers, squash, spinach and tempeh topped with homemade gravy and gorgonzola cheese!

Sad news for our Jacksonville market. :-( All Native Sun locations will be closing. If you've been buying our retail at their stores, it's still available for the next two weeks. Otherwise, if you're visiting the five points area, please check out Grassroots Natural Market. In the meantime, we are looking for another outlet to carry our retail in Jacksonville. Let us know if you have any suggestions!

It has finally happened y'all! Wards Super Market has our tempeh in thier grab and go cold case and it's delicious! We tried it today and put it in a locally baked pita. An incredibly healthy and fast lunch option loaded with flavor and goodness! This is so exciting!!! 😁

We finally made the size switch on our retail tempeh and are confident it has helped make a more consistent, dense and crumble-free tempeh for our retail customers. The new size is better for making recipes that require strips, like tempeh bacon, and can be butterflied so you can still make thin patties like before for quick sandwiches. We hope you like the new improvement and appreciate everyone's continual support as we grow into better tempeh farmers!

Hey guys and gals! Please check out The Murray Hillbilly in Jacksonville FL. They are serving up some excellent tempeh both on thier menu and as specials. Just look at this BBQ tempeh sandwich with vegan macnchez! 😍 If you're in the area, we highly suggest you stop in thier Edgewood Ave. location and show them some love and support as they continue to show us the same! We are excited to announce our new partnership with The Garden Produce in Jacksonville! last week, we we're invited to share some information about ourselves and our tempeh to an amazing and passionate team of people at thier facility! This is a huge deal for us because it makes tempeh more accessible to people who are outside of our distribution area and to those who have an existing relationship with The Garden. We look forward to our new relationship and what it brings!

We can think of countless reasons to eat more tempeh; one of them is it's low landfill impact. As you can see, this is basically all the waste roughly 1000 lbs. of tempeh creates and, it's compostable! However, Since it's still not a perfect world and, the FDA requires us to, we do use plastic bags to incubate our tempeh. We incubate most of our tempeh in .5 mil bags (the thinnest available) and are working on a packaging that cuts our retail landfill impression nearly in 1/2 by using less plastic and no paper! We make decisions every day to be responsible with our waste as entrepreneurs and individuals. We are small business. We believe our actions have repercussions. We take responsibility today for the sake of our tomorrow. So, there it is. Another great reason to eat more tempeh!

Just Checking on the Adzuki Tempeh's progress. Still some time left to go in the incubator until it's ready. Although, the smell could fool you. It fills the room with its sweet aroma. There's no doubt this is going to be a great batch!

Gainesville: The Vine Bakery has an incredible roasted beet and goat cheese sandwich on freshly baked bread! There's no doubt it's great, but to make it perfect just add Old Florida Tempeh! 😋
