We wemt to trivia. She was hungry and told me exactly what she wanted. Sticky wings, fried rice, and dumplings, all from Gan Shan.

The sticky wings are phenomenal, and very much sticky. The fried rice is my favorite fried rice in Asheville. Not yellow, and not too greasy. It was a bit salty, but still delicious with plenty of pork and rice.

As for the dumplings, I had one. These are great pork dumplings. The sauce is creamy and different than the soy sauce based sauce you usually get with dumplings. She had the bowl of dumplings in front of her. I notice she has the last one. I look at her lile, "How could you?!" She dipped the last dumpling in the creamy sauce, and shoved it in my mouth.

I stayed at her house in Brevard. We woke and she wanted breakfast which I thought was odd, because she usually skips breakfast.

We got to Morning Social and it was packed. I ordered a locally roasted coffee while we waited. We got a table soon enough. We both ordered skillets. She got the veggie one, I ordered "The Ranchero," with chorizo and black beans. It came with chips, but I added a biscuit because it's a biscuit. She surprised me again when she ordered sausage gravy.

My biscuit and her gravy arrived. The guy put them both in front of her. I thought it was ying and yang. Then I saw this savage beast attack my biscuit as it was hers. She tore off a small piece of biscuit, placed gravy on top and shoved it in my mouth to shut me up. She ate almost the entire biscuit, and I wasn't even mad.

Sistas On Montford might just have ruined my life. I went for lunch. I always get the oxtail because it's the best I've ever had. I couldn't order it because I've talked about it so much that Sara is dying to try it and if I ordered oxtail without her I'd feel like I was cheating.

The had a cornbread dressing waffle. Not gonna lie, I had no idea what that was but now I can't live without it! It came with 3 wings, Mac n cheese and collard greens. I don't know what sauce they put on these wings, but it had some sweetness and they are some of the best wings I've had. The collards sat on the waffle. The vinegary goodness leaking onto the crispy cornbread waffle stuffed with cheese and rice. I got some collard, mac and waffle in one bite, and it was like a mini or**sm. I still have another meal.

The Mandarin orange lemonade is something else. Sara works in the diabetes field and probably wouldn't approve of this sugary goodness with pieces of mandarin, but it had to be done. Winter is coming. That's my excuse.

This cornbread waffle thing is so good, I almost don't miss the oxtail. I just have to go back immediately with Sara.

She left this at my house. I think it's a hint. It tastes nothing like sausage gravy & biscuits, but I've actually been drinking it.

My friends and I went to dinner at Corner Kitchen. After, one of us had the great idea (I think it was me) to walk across the street literally to LKN Cheesecakery.

It was like 8:45 and they closed at 9pm. I went with a box of 12 cheesecake bites. It was hard deciding which ones to grab. I have had my eye on the strawberry crunch since I first saw it. It reminds me of the strawberry shortcake ice cream bars I'd get off the ice cream truck as a little fat kid. I offered my friends to please take one so I wouldn't go home with 11 cheesecake bites. Only one friend grabbed a red velvet.

I took pictures as soon as I got in my car and sent them to my girlfriend.

My friend Kyle Hickey the best mechanic in Asheville, was at my house working on my car. He asked me what I had going on. I tell him that I have to go pick up food that a friend had made me. He says, "I bet that happens a lot to you." It's not my fault that people like to feed bears.

My friend had make jerk beef tacos. I picked them up at her work and I made them for lunch. Everything was packaged perfectly like she ran a cantina. I got home and heated the jerk beef and rice. The beef was spicy. I texted her, "Is this coconut rice?!" She tells me she sent me the ingredients list, as if I know how to read. She freaked and thought I was allergic. I am only allergic to vegetables that I want to throw off my plate. I could have eaten just the beef and rice, it was that good.

I added cheddar to the tortillas, and warmed them up. The homemade mango salsa and crema simmered down the spiciness of the jerk beef. The juices of the beef drooled down onto the rice as I lapped the rice up with my fork.

This was absolutely the perfect lunch. Thank you Arielle Adams!! 🇯🇲

We were driving back from Charlotte. In Gastonia, I see a sign on the highway for Whataburger. I got excited. Then she tells me she's never been to Whataburger. I swerve off of the highway.

I went with the special, "The Wrangler." She as always, surprised me and ordered a double cheeseburger. The burger was bigger than her head. She shoved that thing in her face. She loved it.

They brought us a new white chocolate raspberry milkshake they were testing out. I went to the bathroom. She filled out a survey, so they gave her a fried apple pie. I took a bite first because she thought it would be too hot. I only got crust. She took a bite and the apple filling burnt her mouth and she spit out crust that landed at the center console. I of course ate it.

Help me here. We had a very heated argument. She poured some on our pulled pork, then tried to tell me it was BBQ sauce.

I thought this was universally known. What is always in this red bottle in the United States?

I thought they were gonna run us out of the restaurant.
