Selling FRIDAY in the Old West Rope Horse Sale, Cool Whips is a 3-year-old gray ROAN stallion straight from the Relentless Remuda program.

A gray roan son of Metallic Cat is about as rare as this business gets, and he’s still a stallion. His dam earned $184,269 and was the NCHA Non-Pro Horse of the Year. Somebody’s going to build a program around this horse.

"You're just one horse away from changing your life," says JD McGuire.

The Solo Select Sale graduate Rockk Star is your high call at the Old West Futurity, and he's one of the two horses they built their entire program around. Stories like theirs are exactly why we do what we do.

We’re having déjà vu. Remember Relentless Empire? The daughter of Relentless Glory who brought $900,000 as the high seller of the Old West Sale in Heber City, Utah?

Her half sibling is roan, he’s a stud c**t, and he’s headed to the Old West Rope Horse Sale THIS FRIDAY in Amarillo.

Lews Yo Self is a 2025 bay roan stallion by Big Lew out of Relentless Glory, consigned by Solo Select and Relentless Remuda. He’s a yearling, which means you’re getting in about as early as anybody can—before a trainer, before a futurity, before anybody knows what he’ll be and the sky is the limit. Relentless Glory is by Metallic Cat and out of Z Oh Six, the full sister to Deputy—the calf horse Trevor Brazile rode at the NFR for nearly a decade. His sire is a Corona Cartel son who won $638,878 and the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Super Derby, then retired sound after three years on the track. What Big Lew is really known for is the mind he passes down.

Selling NEXT FRIDAY in the Old West Rope Horse Sale, Titos N Buckles is a 2-year-old buckskin stallion by Show Me The Buckles out of Day Drinker, consigned by Solo Select and 3 String Cattle.

His sire’s best-known c**t is Dagger—another buckskin—who took the ARHFA 4-Year-Old World Championship with Trevor Brazile. Brazile said he was cowy, fast, and trainable as they come. Underneath that sits real speed, because his dam is an Apollitical Jess daughter—a world champion and $1,399,831 earner whose foals have won over $57 million on the track. That’s the cow-run cross everybody’s chasing right now, in a buckskin package.
