What does it really cost to serve quality brisket?

Cattle prices reached record highs earlier this year, and U.S. cattle inventories remain near historic lows. Beef prices are still near record levels, and those costs eventually make their way down the supply chain to businesses like ours.

And that’s before factoring in the 18+ hours of labor, wood, charcoal, rub, utilities, insurance, packaging, rent, and everything else that goes into producing quality barbecue.

There’s a lot more to running a barbecue business than simply buying meat and putting it on a smoker.

Quality barbecue isn’t cheap to produce, but we never want to compromise on quality.
