I finally have a moment to sit down and report on our Linear Appraisal day. We had a lovely time and as always we learned so much. We were very pleased. Not only did we get our first 91 but we got 2. Here is a run down.

We have decided to let a couple of really stellar doe kids go to new barns since we got so many lovely kids this year. First up is Ivyridge Pretty Please. Her dam is "please"

Please has had success in the show ring, going Best Junior Doe in Show as a dry yearling, and has two legs toward her permanent championship. Her sire was brought in from a dam with really tremendous udder height and width. So far, his kids on the ground are stunning.

Getting closer to our dream set up. We have hot and cold running water it makes life so much better and easy clean up. Next task covering the walls in pvc panels to make it fully washable. Then some day in line milking etc… one step at a time. Living our dream. It might not be everyone’s but this is my happy spot with my friends and family.

The next generation. Lou is loving the goats already. We are so excited to see them grow together.
