🍎🍂 HERE WE GO — FALL HARVEST STARTS TOMORROW! 🍂🍎

Big changes start Saturday, September 5!

Our fall harvest officially begins this weekend with longer picking hours, more to do, and lots more happening around the farm. And we have to say—the orchard and crops look fantastic. We’ve never been more proud of our farm! ❤️

The next EIGHT WEEKENDS are our favorite time of year. Here’s what’s happening:

🍩 DONUTS & C***R SLUSHIES ARE BACK!
The donut machines are fired up! Get your c***r donuts HOT at the farm every Saturday & Sunday from 9–5, along with c***r slushies!

🐐 MAC & TOSH ARE BACK!
Our farm goats, Mac and Tosh, have returned to their barn in the apple orchard! They’ve spent the last few months hanging out with their friends Maebell and Bluebell, but now they’re ready to see all of you again. 🐐❤️

🍷 THE W**E BARN OPENS!
Our seasonal tasting room opens this weekend! Stop in to sample our Holm-made hard c***rs and w**es while you’re at the farm.
Open Saturday & Sunday, 12–5.
And YES… w**e slushies are back! 🍷❄️

🌽 GET LOST! THE CORN MAZE OPENS!
Our kids’ corn maze opens this weekend and will be open on weekends throughout the fall.

Take a look at our harvest calendar for an estimate of what’s ripe and when.

Keep in mind—it’s just an estimate! Weather, crop conditions, and crowds can change things quickly. And don’t worry if you miss a variety while picking: many varieties will be available in the market for weeks or even months after picking ends.

Our kids are back in school, the mornings are getting cooler, and it’s definitely starting to feel like apple season around here! Things are changing fast on the farm as we make the pivot from summer fruit to everything FALL. Here’s what you need to know:

🍎 PICKING HOURS CHANGE SEPTEMBER 5

Starting Saturday, September 5 (Labor Day weekend):
🕘 Picking: Tuesday–Sunday, 9 AM–5 PM
🚫 Picking is CLOSED Mondays
🛍️ Farm Market: Open daily, 9 AM–6 PM
And there’s more! Starting Labor Day weekend:
🍷 W**e Barn: Sat/Sun, 12–5
🌽 Corn Maze: Open weekends
🍩 C***r Donuts & Slushies: Weekends at the farm

🎃 FALL IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER
Pumpkins and fall décor will start arriving mid-September, and that’s also when our school tours get underway!

🍑 LAST CALL FOR NECTARINES & PEACHES!
We’re expecting beautiful weather and still have really good picking in the nectarine orchard.
We’re also on our last variety of peaches, so your best bet is Saturday morning. We can’t guarantee peaches will be available beyond Saturday.
❤️ Raspberries are EVERYWHERE! There are tons ready to pick!
🍐 Bartlett pears are OPEN for picking.
🍎 And we now have FOUR varieties of apples ready:
Zestar! • Ginger Gold • Sweet Maia (nice!) • Blondee
🌻Flowers are in full bloom, too!

🍎🍑 🍐There’s a LOT ready to pick this weekend, with something for everyone. Peaches, nectarines, apples, plums, pears, raspberries—and even flowers! Come fill your bucket with a little bit of everything!
🍑 PEACHES — Wow! We have had some serious peach pickers lately! Thank you! ❤️ We’re overwhelmed by the demand. We should have a good supply to open Saturday, but we may pick out for the weekend by the end of the day. If you want peaches, come early!
🍑 NECTARINES — We have a really good supply, and picking is easy! This is our last nectarine variety to ripen, and the trees are loaded with fruit.
🍎 APPLES — It’s time! We’ll have Zestar, Gingergold and Sweet Maia apples available for picking this weekend. Picking is very easy. Sweet Maia is a new apple for us, and we really like it! Give it a try—it’s a great lunchbox-sized apple for the little ones, too.
🟣 PLUMS — This may be a first for us! We have a few plum trees that are absolutely loaded, so why not open them up for picking? Grab a few this weekend while they last!
🍐 PEARS — We’re opening our one and only Clapp’s pear tree Saturday, and it’s loaded! These are a green, firm pear. Bartlett pears should open in about 7–10 days.
🌸 FLOWERS — Lots and lots of flowers are ready to cut! Come make your own bouquet.
❤️ RASPBERRIES — Lots of red raspberries are ready to go, and picking is very easy!
It’s shaping up to be a great weekend at the farm. Come see us! 🍎🍑🍐🌸

We just started picking a few of our early Honeycrisp for the market. This is a special, very early strain of Honeycrisp that ripens right here in August.

These Honeycrisp are NOT available for pick-your-own — we’re picking them ourselves for the market. But don’t worry, pick-your-own apples are coming! We expect to have several varieties ready for picking next weekend. 🍎

There are lots more Honeycrisp on the way, so stop in today and grab some while they last!

Here we are running the sorting machine, grading tomatoes by size and checking for blemishes. Andrew Holmberg is lending a hand and helping keep the whole process moving!

The heat really pushed the tomato crop along, and we’ve got a great crop coming in fast. Now it’s time to sort, grade, pack, and get these beauties out to the market!

🍎 Pick-Your-Own Staff — help welcome customers, cashiering, field supervision, and make sure our guests have a great experience.

🌳 Production/Farm Work — behind-the-scenes work helping us get ready for and through the busy apple season.

Warm weather has moved out, and cooler, dry air is here for the weekend — ideal conditions for picking! 🙌

Here’s what’s happening in the orchard:

🍑 PEACHES — Great picking and right at peak season! This is a perfect weekend to fill your buckets.

🍑 NECTARINES — Easy picking today through Saturday! Based on last weekend, we may run out by Sunday, but don’t worry — there’s more on the way!

❤️ RASPBERRIES — THEY’RE BACK! ❤️
Our second crop is turning red, and the picking is getting GOOD!

💐 FLOWERS — WOW. That’s really all we can say. The flowers are looking incredible right now! 🌸

🍑 Need some inspiration for that bucket of peaches?

Here are 10 delicious things to do with your peaches:

🍑 Make a classic peach pie
🥞 Add fresh peaches to pancakes or waffles
🍨 Top vanilla ice cream with warm peaches
