It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of “Joey” Joseph Cupit . He was are longest running employee of around 25 years . He was a valued part of our smokehouse family and friend. His hard work, loyalty, and commitment made a lasting impact on our smokehouse and those around him. He mastered the art of curing country hams, making sausage, and he was an unparalleled pinwheel maker. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Please keep his family & friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Another heifer was born 💗 we are up to 3 girls and 2 boys so far. 🫶

💗💗 1st calf of the year was actually on 4/15. We couldn’t catch her because she was already fast straight from the beginning so we just found out it’s a heifer. She is our successful Artificially inseminated (AI) calf from Sire Aldermere Lance. The Aldermere herd is the oldest operating herd in the US. I’ve wanted another Aldermere since we lost a cow from our starter herd whom was I’m not going to lie a family favorite. Definitely will be keeping this one 🌸 Aldermere Farm and Erickson Fields
