I'm always looking for safe, effective, eco-friendly and sustainable options in all aspects of my consumption, not the least of which are my cleaning tools and products. Who would've thought wool would be able to be used as a dish sponge?!
Benefits:
*Wool exhibits natural antimicrobial properties.
*No tearing or crumbling away.
*No foul odors.
*6 months-1 year of use
*Wash with soap and water, wring out, and allow to dry.
*Non-synthetic fiber that doesn't shed microplastics.
*Compostable! When the sponge needs to be replaced, bury it in your yard or garden.
*Cost effective: 2 wool sponges for $10.
These sponges are made from wool sourced from Ferndale Farms in Northern California.
Find them at The Cupboard Collective which is housed on the 2nd floor of South Water Manor in Gallatin, TN. Tuesday-Saturday. 10-5.
