So Murphy was diagnosed with the stone bruise. He got better. Had several days where he walked almost normal. Last couple days, wont even put weight on the hoof. I gave him a good once over this evening and seems ive located the issue! Gonna treat with Epsom paste and a wrap until the farrier can get here sunday. I think we'll finally get him fixed up!

In other farm news, i wrestled 6 goats (including the 2 new girls that are still quite wild) in order to give them all a dose of dewormer. I think ive sweated 15 gallons today. My body hurts. I need a vacation. Send help 🫠 farm life is not for the weak.

Im the kind of person who usually adores storms. Ive always loved them. But... can we please go back to having normal freaking storms?! Why is every single one of them severe with tornado risk and 60+mph winds, golf ball hail, locusts and frogs?! Why cant we have a normal good steady rain with a few good rumbles and booms and a few strikes of lightning? Not apocalypse style every single freaking time. The lightning last night was INSANE
