Alright. I love to talk about my favorite places to get take out. Gino’s- to me had good Pizza. Unfortunately not today. The time they gave for pick up was 30 mins. I arrived about 10 mins early. Payed and left. When I got home I opened the Pizza box and the Pizza looked beat up. It was actually burned. The burnt half of it affected the whole flavor. The crust was black and tasted like cardboard. Called Ginos and they explained they would gladly give me credit ( like an another Pizza credit), “No thank you”, but couldn’t do a refund, because it would void the ticket. My question to them. Why would your Pizza guy put this in a box and send it out?

Tried Sugar & Rye for lunch today with my girls. Enjoyed the ambiance and company. Food was nice. The only thing that could have used a higher temp was my crab cake sandwich. Lukewarm in the middle. Maybe better next time.

Tried this small eatery out this morning. A little different, but it hit the spot. It sits on the corner of Broadway from the Historical Moody Mansion.
