Because we are family owned and operated, and local to Galveston Island, we offer personal service to all of our patrons. Because we choose to keep our service personal, we sometimes have to limit the number of clients and orders we accept.

It is our deepest wish that our customers will be so satisfied with our service that they will call on GIGD again and again for their grocery delivery needs. And because we so value repeat customers, we will soon be offering monthly delivery packages-- One price will buy a certain number of deliveries each month*. No fuss, no hassle. --Customers will be pre-paid on fees. Watch for this special option...coming soon!

GIGD is a family owned/operated business, and because we do not wish to expand, we cannot take on anymore of a workload than we currently have.

GIGD has gone completely 'Bag Less'! We are no longer using plastic throw-away bags from the local grocery stores here on the island.

Instead, we have special-ordered eco-friendly brown paper grocery bags, which can be re-used & repurposed...in large part. They can also be used in your garden, when they are no longer strong enough to hold your groceries or gifts items.

Just another way Galveston Island Grocery Delivery is helping to be kind to Mother Nature and Mother Ocean. --Eco-Friendly business practices for a better tomorrow, and a cleaner Galveston Island.
