Stop into Galveston's premiere local brewery. Located on the west end of Galveston Island, and just a block from the beach, Galveston Island Brewing is a great stop on your tour of the island. All beers on our 18-tap, tap wall are brewed right on site. Our beers range from The Official Beer of Galveston, TIKI Wheat, to our year-round #1 IPA, Citra Mellow. Our rotating tap wall boasts one off brews, specialty releases and year-round favorites. Galveston Island Brewing has something fun for the whole family. Family and dog friendly (in the yard area, on a leash). We have a playground, games for all age ranges and a whole lot of relaxation. Outside food welcomed. Food trucks most days. Cans and bombers available to-go. Growler fills available. Bring your own growler or purchase one in the tap room. Galveston Island Brewing's Tap Room is open 363 days a year. Closed Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day.

We are happy to announce the re-launch of Gulf Ghost Red L***r. 🐺🍺

Join us for a Howl-A-Ween celebration Saturday, October 24th | 2:00-5:00pm.

🎃 Alongside the release, representatives from the Gulf Coast Canine Project will be on-site talking about the conservation efforts, selling commemorative shirts and hosting the Best Ghost Wolf costume contest. 

🐺 Gulf Coast Canine Project is a nonprofit dedicated to studying and protecting the critically endangered ghost wolf and the fragile coastal ecosystem it inhabits. Help us raise awareness with this b**r to preserve a Texas gem, the Galveston coast, and ensuring its habitat remains vibrant for generations to come.

🌎 Swing in for a chance to connect, learn, and take action. By raising a glass, you’re also raising awareness and making an impact.

Gulf Center for Sea Turtle Research is hosting their annual shell-ebration to reflect on another incredible year of making a difference for sea turtles. They will be sharing updates, highlights, and statistics from GCFSTR conservation programs, while also announcing the 2026 Sea Turtle Conservation Hero Awards. 🏆

🎟️ Guests can enjoy the raffle and auction while connecting with fellow supporters and members of the sea turtle conservation community.

👚 Pick up your pre-order Loggerhead L***r shirts or snag one at the event! You can also join the tie-dye activity and make your shirt uniquely yours. Supplies are limited, so grab yours before they sell out.

We can’t wait to bring our community together to celebrate our progress, honor our supporters, and look ahead to another year of saving Texas sea turtles! 🐢💚
