Craft beer lovers know about the "craft" and can appreciate fine tequilas. Come cross over at Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting on October 29th.

Learning Tequila Terms. Here's the info in a nutshell - or tequila barrel in this case. Reposado is aged for between 60 and 364 days (less than one year). Anejo is aged for at least one year, but less than three years. And extra anejo, the most recently added classification, is aged for at least three years.

Who knows what an extra añejo tequila is?

Well it must be aged a minimum of three years in oak barrels. That's nothing for whiskey and a real treat for a lot of tequila fans. For an aged product, extra añejo (XA) is a relatively new category, only established in 2006 as a fourth tequila aging category (after blanco, reposado and añejo).

And you'll try Tears of Llorona at Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting.
This extra añejo tequila, which was called "a sipping tequila of the highest order" by Men's Journal, was aged in a combination of former Scotch, Sherry and Cognac casks for nearly five years.
